Message: After 21 years, our central air conditioning system failed. After checking out a few companies, I chose Angelo Chiodo. Their service people Jim and James were terrific. They were on time, curtious, and installed a much more efficient, high-qualityCarrier Central Air Conditioning system. In addition they offered 18 month no interested, same-as-cash financing and provided forms for a $600 federal rebate. We are so satified with Angelo Chiodo that we are also pruchasing a maintenance service contract.

Message: I rarely write reviews but due to the outstanding service I received from Angelo Chiodo heating and air conditioning, I decided to write one. During these past weeks of hot and humid weather, my air conditioner system was not functioning. I called for service expecting to wait but was extremely surprised that a service person would be available even though I called rather late. The service person was on time, professional, and personable. Thank you Angelo Chiodo and employees.

Message: I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Angelo Chiodo. Every member of their team was nice, personable, and knowledgeable. Their phone was always answered by someone (not a recording) and services were very prompt.. Jim and James installed a new AC & furnace in our house and did a great job. Both were installed in the same day. They were both very kind and professional.

Message: From the beginning to the end was top notch service. We had an AC and a furnace installed at a great price. Jim and James were courteous and professional. On top of that a Carrier product! Message: We have used Angelo Chiodo for years for our HVAC maintenance and always found them very easy to work with. In the past year, we have had to replace both our furnace and our AC unit, so we have had even more reasons to call. The furnace replacement was especially crucial bc it was an urgent install during some of the coldest temps of the winter - they showed up for an emergency call within half an hour on a Friday night after hours to look at the situation and were able to do the install of the new furnace within two days even though it was a long weekend. They are always communicative, prompt to arrive and very thorough, including putting down drop cloths/cleaning things up as they work.

Message: This past Monday while are work, I received a call from the wife / son at home advising that the furnace was not working, and the temperature was dropping in the house.. As a result of having a back up heater, they made it through the night, and upon my arrival home in the morning (Tuesday), I began the trouble-shooting process, first starting with the batteries in the thermostat, then moving onto the unit.. Once the front access cover on the unit was opened, it was quite obvious that the main wiring harness to the control board had arched out, briefly catching fire, causing the unit to stop work.. Over the course of the day, I contacted a few repair facilities to receive pricing on the replacement harness, control board, however after obtaining these, it would be over $600. 00 and there were delays on receiving.. Our house was built in June of 1980, we moved in May of 2001 and a quick decision was made as a result of the current unit giving us a good 22 years and was a total of 43 years old.. As a result of dealing with Angelo Chiodo to add our central air when we moved in, a call was made to have someone come out to quote replacing the unit and return phone call was received within 15 minutes.. On the return call, Jon was quick to listen (was going to send a tech, however I explained the unit was DEAD and didn't want to tie the tech up). He advised he was on the way quote up a new unit as he did not want us to spend another day / night without heat.. He arrived within the hour, provided the quote, offered the assistance on helping us find any necessary heaters we needed to get through the evening (we already had one) and the new install was scheduled for the morning.. On Wednesday morning, there was a ring at the door bell at 8:15 am, the installer was courtesy and ready to get to work on removing the old unit and to start the new install.. Over the next several hours, the installer laid down drop cloths to be sure not to get the rugs dirty (basement is finished), was very cautious on the trips in / out of the house and spent the time to explain the process as he worked (we all know how it is, when someone was watching over your shoulder) however this did not affect him one bit.. Upon the completion of the install, he took the additional time walk me through the unit, new thermostat and explain all the paperwork (warranty) etc.. The laundry room, garage, driveway area (where things were unloaded, installed) were left cleaner than what they were when he arrived.. It's for these reasons, I HIGHLY recommend using them Chiodo team as you will not be disappointed, if I could give ten stars, there would be no hesitation.

Message: We are first-time customers of Chiodo Heating and Air Conditioning, and our experience couldn't have been better. After getting a few estimates to replace our HVAC system, we called Chiodo for an estimate. Jon was at our house within two days. He was polite, respectful, and professional. Jon listened to our concerns and offered us solutions without being hard sell. He even provided us with his personal cell number in the event we had any follow up questions or concerns. Jon also invited us down to the shop where we met several of the staff, including the owner, Mr. Chiodo, who is on site and hands on. They have an on-site fabrication department where they build custom ductwork when needed. This guy takes pride in his work. We were able to get our new furnace, A/C and thermostat installed within three days. The installers, Frankie and AJ arrived on time and they too where polite and respectful of us, and to our home. They did a terrific job with the installation and paid attention to detail, which we appreciated. They removed the old equipment, swept the floor and made certain we were satisfied prior to leaving. The office staff also processed our paperwork in a timely fashion and provided us with the documentation we needed to file a National Grid rebate that we qualified for.
